Desired Outcome
This proposal
presents an explicit intention to provide English language teachers from Programa Avanzado De Educación (ProA)
secondary schools in Villa Nueva, Cordoba with useful contributions that Social-Emotional
Education and Neuroscience can make to
benefit students learning English as a foreign language. Through data collection obtained from conducting semi-structured
interviews to the English teachers working at ProA school in Villa Nueva, this
research will contribute to the researchers’ objective to describe the role of Social-Emotional
Education and Neuroscience in education as well as to design new strategies and
adapt old ones for the benefit of the
above-mentioned learners. Furthermore, it is expected that this study will
serve as an initial stage or even a guide to be applied in other schools of the
same kind along the province of Cordoba.
